My name is Steve and I was the co-founder of the men’s ministry at Freedom Baptist Church, Baltimore, Maryland. I believe it is important to minister to men to be all they are called to be according to God’s Will.

I am not belittling women in their roles in the church, but far more women have stepped up to take on the leadership roles because men have dropped the ball.

This site is about the new believer or the one in search of their faith. As believers we are called by the Great Commission:

Mat 28:18  And Jesus came to them and spake unto them, saying, All authority hath been given unto me in heaven and on earth. 
Mat 28:19  Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: 
Mat 28:20  teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. 

A new believer can easily be overwhelmed and it is important for them to have some guidance in their walk toward a stronger relationship with Christ. Everyone needs a mentor, a disciple, to teach them to become the stronger, more faith-filled Christian and fulfill God’s Will in their life.

It is also important as each new Christian grows that they take upon themselves the job of disciple. Nothing helps grow strength, conviction and faith like both learning and teaching the things of God and studying His word.

I am not expecting this site to replace personal discipleship but to:

1. Aid those looking
2. Aid the new believer and give some direction and training for their walk
3. Aid the growing believer into discipleship
4. Standing firm in the faith through Apologetics
